Food + Service + Price: Been eating here for about a year and a half. Always a good experience. Prices are great and so is the food. I've had some wonderful meals there where the owner took care of me with lots of extra service.

Cheap, Tasty Indian Food: My boyfriend and I have been coming here every Sunday for a couple of months. This regular date is in addition to the other days we randomly decide to grab lunch or dinner there! The food is delicious and the prices are low. The vegetarian menu is amazing, I recommend the mixed sabzi. My friends can also attest to the quality of their meat options. Overall, best Indian restaurant in Berkeley!

Excellent, very inexpensive Indian/Pakistani food: Tandor Kitchen is a terrific Indian/Pakistani fastfood joint in Berkeley. I have paid 2-3x as much for Indian food that was no where near as good as Tandor Kitchen. Personally, I think the food is better than Vik's Chaat house, which is highly rated in Zagat's (Tandor offers a much more expansive menu). The service is solid, and the owner, who takes your order, is a really nice guy. What Tandor lacks in decor it more than makes up for in taste, and you can bring your own beer. It's also great for takeout. I highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala - I've yet to taste its equal.
