Thoroughly enjoyed it!: It was cozy with a warm ambiance. We were greeted promptly and with a friendly tone, and seated almost immediately ( I think we got lucky, cause it was still pretty busy for a Thurs. at 7:30p). The food was also prompt and left us wanting more (although we couldn't have eaten another bite). We had the prosciutton with melon and calamari to start. Moved on to a scrumptious rigatoni calabrese, portobello mush pizza, and risotto with shrimp entrees. We all shared everything and shared the opinion that it was all delizioso! Topped it all off with a "to die for" tiramisu (no liquor, light as a feather, and creeeaamy), as well as some gelato. Go! Eat, drink (wine and beer only), and walk, or roll, out completely satiated.
good solid italian food: We often call pastas from them, so we don't know how their woodfired oven's pizzas and calzones are...
Okay Food, bad service: During my last visit to Cuguni, the hostess gave us a table near the door, even though they had several seats available elsewhere! She refused to give another table saying the rest were reserved! We spent over an hour with our dinner, and didnt see anyone else occupying the other tables.
The food was just okay, nothing-special- Italian dishes.
