| About: | Deliberately unpretentious from the open kitchen dishing up typical grill favorites such chilly, sandwiches and garlic fries served in mountainous proportions, to the booth seating in lightly varnished woods or the patio, this is a popular spot for locals. Young and old marvel at the fleet of beer vats mounted on the wall while quaffing ales, largers, pilsners and other products of the microbrewery craze are still strong here. Kids are welcome, too, and almost all love the lightly grilled cornbread that is a house speciality. The service is friendly and fast from the young staff. |

Awesome beer, great pulled pork sandwich! Cute, friendly waitress!
My wife and I came in on a Wednesday evening and were plesantly surprised to find bar trivia going on. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. I had a Pilsner which brought back memories of Prague, and Cindy (my wife) had a hemp porter which she liked. I had a Mahi mahi tostada which was good but the house hot sauce was screaming hot and i used too much, but overall a good dish. Cindy's Pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw was awesome if not a bit messy. Overall a great place for a bite and a beer. We'll be back.
Good beer, great sweet potato fries, nice patio, BUT lousy food and even worse service. Their food is so consistently poor that it must be intentional - and don't even think of sending it back! You'll just get re-heated torn up junk. This is the second time we have had problems with the food being poorly cooked and tasting partly spoiled. The servers lousy attitude made the experience really unpleasant.
Go for the beer, not the food. If you're local, or sometimes even if you're not, you'll always know someone at the drum, especially on farmer's night. Great beer and fantastic bartenders.
