Stopped by on the way to Oregon. It was a happy accident. They got our order mixed up by putting spicy salsa in my burrito, but it was still the bomb!! No complaints!

I have been going to puentez taqueria for a few years now and I am very happy with the way they make your food. It is one of the best taquerias in my opinion. the food is delicious and fresh.

Not worth even parking in busy shopping center: They dont greet you. You dont feel welcome, they dont thank you. They are mutes. The food was not good at all. I ordered a tamale which was cold and bland. I also ordered a burrito. Refried beans tasted like they had just come out of a can. Rosarita canned beans taste better than this. Overall yuck. For those looking for a good taqueria, try Taqueria San Jose under the overpass off of third st. The ambiance is GREAT there, plus the food is delicious, and this is coming from a Mexican. Also Taqueria Maria off of 4th is good. But please, save your dollars by not going to Pentez Taqueria. Also, if you're in the area, you must try Cactus Taqueria in 5642 College Ave,Oakland in popular Rockridge. Oh yeah, let me remind you how gross Puentez Taqueria is...gross.
