My girlfriend and I both received 1 hour massage and hot tub gift certificates to Frog's for Christmas and decided to cash them in. We both were looking forward to a relaxing evening after a long week. Her certificate was different than mine, but I thought nothing of it. My GF called and made reservations earlier in the week and mentioned her certificate looked different than mine, but the person taking the reservation said that the owner sometimes did that. I have been to Frog's about 10 times since I moved to Marin but she had never been. We arrived and presented our certificates to the lady behind the desk and she seemed to be a little concerned about my GF's. She asked about it and my GF said it was a Christmas gift from a friend. She eventually said it was fine and took both our certificates. As we were both taking off our clothes in the changing area we could hear a man's loud voice asking about my GF's certificate. Since all the changing rooms are separated by partitions and don't go to the ceiling, everyone (the place was full) can hear what he was saying. The man (loudly) was asking why the woman took the certificate and told her the thing was fake. He began to say that we were trying to scam the place. At this point, both my GF and I were starting to feel the hostility in his voice and walked to the front desk in our towels. I asked the man what the problem was and he began to demand where we got the certificate and insist that it was a fake. After telling him numerous times that it was given to my GF as a gift he proceeded to become more hostile waving it her face saying that she was committing fraud. I kept repeating to him that it was a gift and started to become mad that he was accusing my GF of fraud. Throughout this, the woman behind the desk was doing nothing to diffuse the situation. I honestly was starting to feel the situation would become physical with how aggressive this man was being. This is the very last place you would expect something like this to happen. I told him we were leaving and both of us went back to change. After we got dressed we went to the front desk. The woman tried to calm both of us down, apologizing and telling us she would honor my GF's certificate. She explained that the man cleaned the place and closed up at nights and his name was "Tom". After talking a little more we very reluctantly decided to sit in the private tubs to cool off and relax. Once we got to the private tub we both decided that we did not feel comfortable being there. Once we got back to the front desk "Tom" was there with the woman and we told them we were leaving. The man again proceeded to aggressively accuse us of trying to rip the place off as we are walking out the door! After my GF told him what he was saying was pointless and repetitive he stormed out of the front door. We told the woman that we were going to call the owner of the place and complain which she replied to that she was the owner! We asked how she could let "Tom" talk to customers this way and she has no excuse for it. Nada, zilch. This was as bizarre and disturbing as it sounds! 'Tom" belongs at a strip club bouncing perverts and drunks and not at a massage & hot tub establishment in Fairfax! This man genuinely made me feel like I was going to get in a fist fight.... that's how aggressively he treated us. Never again will I step foot in that place

I have been going to frogs for years,I love this place. Yes, it's funky but very clean and I always get a great message. Jenny and Christine are awesome. Years and years of experience. They are both better than any massage therapist I have had in the past and I have been to some of the finest resorts in the world. I'm spoiled by these women and find it hard when I do travel to get a massage because it doesn't compare to these two women. The only thing I don't like is sharing the dry sauna with men, Thank you frogs
