I have been visiting the seafood peddler occasionally and the food is excellent, the prices are little higher, the service staff is very attentive I got to know some of them that are very good. Its worth a visit.
It's easy to see why Seafood Peddler was voted "Best of Marin" for seafood restaurants in 2008. I ordered the Classic Fish & Chips and it was near-perfect. The fish was as fresh as it could be, the fries were good but I like a thicker cut and the Coke was a bit watery (unless it was really Pepsi in disguise). The service was perfect and so was the weather. Parking is plentiful around here and boaters being able to dock to brunch is a nice touch.
Well what can I say except if it wasn't for the dessert and the bread, the entire experience would have been terrible. The food didn't meet our expectations whatsoever. We cook better food at home. The service was a joke. It was like eating at a Long John Silver's. There were dirty tables all around us and nobody was batting an eye. I don't know whatever happened to this place but Al Silvestri has 5 restaurants and if this is the way he runs the other 4 he must be losing money or catering to people with low standards. Needless to say, we'll spend our money elsewhere from now on. Goodbye, Seafood Peddler.

You should give it another shot. The place was clean as a whistle when I went there. Service was great too.
