good coffee - plenty room - and certainly personal service for the locals. The nice gentleman who manages the place knows most of his customers by name making it a very homey place - get a cup of coffee and stay as long as you need, especially if you need to use their free internet access. There is a Mediterranean part to their menu. Check out the falafel.
Fair fix is not a great place for food, although I like the Fairfix Melt and Nicoise Salad ok... (the bagels are bad). It is more of a very comfortable place to sit and read a newspaper or work. You can always get a table, and there is no obnoxious live music.
