I have been under the care of Dr. Herschleb and his staff for over 10 years, and find that the quality and level of care are superb.
In regard to staff, my observation of the last post is that you must be new because I have been a patient for over seven years, and the past couple months is the first time I've encountered turnover and that's only because it was time for two of his people to retire - both had been there over 15 years and everyone told me how much they enjoy working there, so I'm trying to figure out the origin of the "how badly he treated them" comment. I have moved to Southern California and he's STILL my dentist - the place is that good.
I must admit that I do not agree with the other review. I left this office after finding out that I had a cavity and nothing was down about it until it was too late. He didn't request that x-rays be taken and when I asked because I had pain in on of my molers he said it was fine. Turns out that wasn't the case I had a tooth absyss. I loved the staff but he didn't seem to with the amount of turnover and how badly he treated them. Hope this helps.

I am glad you get good treatment but Olivia's comment below regarding the staff is true. I can say that because I worked for his wife and him for a year. Lois and Marilyn are fabulous people and Marilyn's cleanings were great. I know that someone else was let go because she had to be gone for a week because her husband was very ill. Dr. Herschleb and his wife thought it was appropriate to let her go because of that. I don't know about you but that is sad and I think people should not just look at the treatment but also at how the staff is treated. I quit because of the terrible treatment and can honestly say these people do not deserve your money because of how cruel they are. If you get good treatment then fine but that is just my opinion. Tell them I said hi.
