I've been dining at this cozy little restaurant in the middle of beautiful downtown Boulder Creek for over 20 years! It is rustic yet cozy with blue Gingham curtains in the windows. The waitstaff are cordial and the food is a value, you won't leave hungry. They are open for breakast and lunch closing at 1PM. This is a destination for some of the more "sedate" motorcycle clubs as it is on Highway 9, the route of many "weekend rides". There are vegetarian options as well as the obligatory offering of "bacon and eggs". Some of my favorites are Buckwheat pancakes, fluffy but filling; Hot Potato, a baked potato topped with scrambled eggs, bacon, melted cheese, sour cream and green onions; Eggs Benedict special (only available some Sundays until they run out). If you like Home Fried Potatoes, you gotta get these! Crispy-cruchy on the outside, soft and steamy on the inside! How about Bicuits and gravy, light bicuits with a rich, smokey, onion gravy with bits of bacon. If you are in the area you owe it to yourself to check it out. If you are a local, you may see a neighbor or friend and get a chance to chat. Either way the food and ambiance are unique and welcoming.
Rustic and Country to the core!: i love this place! when i started dating my husband it was one of the first places he took me to eat. i'll never forget it! the service was personal and the staff was cheerful and very accomidating to my kids. The food was fantastic and the prices were too! i'll defanatly come back.
