This is a good place. I liked it. I would recommend it. The prices are also decent and so is the ambience.

Great stop when you need to get out of traffic: This restaurant is just off hwy 237 and north First Street in Alviso. It is very busy at lunch but very quiet at dinner so it is a great place to get a good meal without waiting in 30-60 minute lines. The food is either Italian or Mexican and both cuisines are well represented. The food is good, sevice is great. We stop here at least a couple of time a month and are never disappointed. My favorite in summer is their fresh seafood salad (cool crisp greens and fresh shrimp and crab). The Chicken Marsala is also very good and everything I have tried on the mexican side of the menu has been good. They prepare their own salsa each day and it has just the right amount of heat. Hot but not unedible.
I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you are about to go crazy sitting in the traffic on 237 trying to get to the east bay or beyond. Pull over, have a good meal and let the traffic thin out.

Good Reinterpretion of Italian Food: A nice restaurant in a not-so-nice neighborhood. Ambiance is nice and relaxed, and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. Looks like they are expanding. Food was great. They serve both Italian and Latin American food. I had the meat lasagna, which wasn't as authentic as I had expected but was a nice reinterpretation of it with a touch of Latin style.
