About:Fine Italian cuisine at Cucina Paradiso is inspired by the chef's imagination and possibly a stint at Cefalu. Stellar creations of linguini, carpaccio, caprese, ravioli di Anatra, and pollo arrosto make the ristorante worth visiting. The vegetarian preparations are satisfactory. The place is often packed but that doesn't compromise on the quality of the service. Reserve to avoid disappointment.

Love the interior and location! On my most recent visit, I asked that my risotto be prepared vegetarian. No problem...it was delicious!

Authentic Italian restaurant run by 1st generation Italians. The chef has solid kitchen credibility from 10 years in prestigious SF restaurants. This 44 seat unpretentious storefront is located in a 1950's strip shopping center. Even though Petaluma has added many new exciting, high-end boutique restaurants over the past 5 years, Cucina Paradiso still makes the BEST food in town. Bambie & I had 8:30pm reservations on Monday night. The place was packed. We didn't get seated for 15 minutes. The diners were boisterously happy, jubilant with good food & wine. Food: All near perfect. Salads dressed mildly so the fresh greens come thru. Pasta handmade in house. My pappardelle was stellar. Bambie's fish was simply sublime. Best red wine by glass is a silky Sicilian Nero D'Avola, $7. Dessert: Real Cassata was fluffy, flavorful. Cannoli good, not as stellar as Mezzo-Mezzo (San Rafael). You get little extras if you speak Italian. Euro-Pro level service. Dinner for 2 = $100.
