I have seen definate improvement at this place over the past several months...I think that some of the managers have left Michelle and the overall vibe has improved and service seems to have gotten better. the still have extremely small portions and spending 20-30 Dollars for a couple of rolls hardly seems worth it.....If you spend about 70-100 per person you might not be hungry a hour afterwords...suggestion...eat a bunch of spagetti before you go....that way you can enjoy the great food and not have to worry about feeling to full.
I hated this place the service sucked big time!!!!!! The hostess was on a personal phone call for 5 minutes when she should of been running my card so I could leave that place. The portions looked like appetizers, and it costs a fortune... I wouldn't go back if they payed me!!!!!
So fresh it's still wiggling :): Sushi Ran is amazing. A bit on the pricey side, but well worth it! The sushi is fresh, fresh, fresh. The only two downfalls are MAKE RESERVATIONS~ this place gets packed..and I do mean packed. Many tables are squeezed into small areas and they fill fast. USE THE RESTROOM BEFORE YOU GO. lol It's outside and around the corner...which isn't too bad if it's beautiful outside. There's a lovely little area to wait your turn in. However, it was raining when I went and waiting outside in the drizzle wasn't so lovely. Other than those two minor details, this place rocks. Ask about the nightly specials and if your daring, let your server set you up with the house specials. They'll blow your mind. And bring plenty of cash. :)
