Company Information: This festival has been earning high marks with critics and film lovers since its inception in 1977. The schedule includes the usual mix of indie and foreign films that you would expect to find at better film festivals, but what sets this one apart is the consistently high quality of film choices, as well as its dedication to children's programming. In fact, unlike most festivals, it has a children's programmer on staff. MVFF also hosts panel discussions, receptions, and question-and-answer sessions with world-class filmmakers.
