We left feeling satisfied and not overstuffed or bogged down even though we ate more than our normal portions. the food was fresh and light definitely not greasy. the sweet and sour chicken was the best i have ever had and not to mention how delicious the mushu pork was.... this was a great experience and i recommend it to everyone.

Now that the Santa Cruz Good Times has given the Panda Inn such a smashing review, everyone will know about it, so I'm hesitant to add my accolades for fear the place will get too popular.
Nestled in the Deer Park Center (if it's possible to be nestled in a shopping center), the Panda Inn offers the tastiest Chinese food this side of San Francisco. We loved the sizzling rice soup and the honey walnut shrimp. (Not a fan of the crispy duck, though; maybe it's an acquired taste.) Dishes are served family style. An appetizer and three entries were enough for three, with some left over to take home.-

eater: been here many times, and it is the best chinese rest in Santa Cruz County by far. Food is server hot, and is very fresh. Great spices/flavors.
