User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI eat lunch there occasionally and find it's just OK. I do like the Kung Pao very much, at least most of the time. It is home made and a little different each time. The service is usally very good, especially if you want a quick lunch.

My wife and I ate dinner at Uncle Kwok's tonight and found everything to be excellent! That includes the service and everything we ate. Also, good to know that they serve brown rice as an alternative to the white rice. Very dependable. Never dissapointed!!!

We've been all over Santa Cruz, Capitola, Soquel and Aptos for Chinese and Uncle Kwok's is without question the best in the area. Their Honey Walnut Prawns are INCREDIBLE! The brown sauce in the Kung Pao Chicken is totally home made and has one of the most unique flavor combinations I've ever tasted!! The Pot Stickers are so fresh and tender and also very clearly hand-made. The combo fried rice and chow mien can't be beat and all of their soups are AMAZING!! I could go on and on but suffice to say that you won't find any better on the Central Coast!
