| About: | The Boulevard Tavern used to be Otto's Garden Room, the definitive biker bar of the South Bay. Now it has transformed itself into an upscale dive, cashing in on the former business' cachet (if that is what it can be called) while catering to a new clientele. The current crowd is a mix of professionals and working-class types. With the hardwood floors and the homey fireplace, you cannot go wrong. Local bands play every Friday night. |

This is a bar for all ages 21-100 :): This bar is the funnest bar I know of in the Bay area. It is one of those bars you can go to all alone and make new friends instantly. Friday nights are the best, there is usually a Fun local band playing and Always Great service! Come in and see for yourself this Friday, 4/27/07, Age of Reason is playing..
Nice Crowd.....Needs Better Service: I have always had fun in this bar and the patrons and waitstaff are freindly. The biggest issue that I have is that it never fails to take at least 5-10 minutes just to get a drink even when it is not busy. It never takes that long at any of the other local watering holes that I frequent. Overall, it is a nice place and I do recommend trying it or yourself.
Gem!: I had been told that The Boulevard Tavern was a dump, and now I'm wishing I knew who told me that; 'cos they need a slap. This place is a great dive bar! The bar staff are great fun, friendly and attentive and they have one of those awesome jukeboxes that hocks up to the internet giving you an almost endless choice of songs! Mix this with pool tables, classic arcade machines and ESPN and you've got a great bar. I was impressed, and will definitely be back.
