Thi Orchid

This is my favorite Thai restaurant! I try others around the Bay but always decide Thai Orchid is still the best. My favorites are their Pad Thai, green curry, and fresh rolls. A great cozy place to take a date or to have a leisurely meal with a large group of friends.

Good food: I've been here many times since 2004. I love its soups and the papaya salad. When ordering, hot means HOT, so you would want to order mild or medium to start with. The satay is not bad at all.
My fav. are tom kha gai, pad thai, pad see ew, silver noodle salad, tom yam noodle soup, crispy catfish, panang curry, and green curry. I come here regularly and the taste is always consistent.
The ambience is good for couples and group. The lighting was just right for me. However, the table setting is too close to one another and you could hear your neighbors' conversation.

This place is great! It's a house so you have to look closely not to miss it. Go there for lunch and you can walk out of the place with lunch, soup (included), drink for under $8. Amazing prices and the food is great too.
