Skip Houston at Bankers Mortgage Funding did a FANTASTIC job on my sons home loan! It needed to be done quickly and professionally, and Skip was on top of it from beginning to end. Great rate, great service - we highly recommend!

BAD real estate agent + GREAT Mortgage Broker = OK: Not only was the real estate agent new (first deal - that Mom sent her), but she was just lazy. Skip Houston of Bankers Mortgage identified so many problems early in the deal that many potential catastrophies were narrowly avoided. Skip even joined us for the close at the title company (not usually done by mortgage brokers), just to make sure everything was in place, and everything turned out OK in the end. We really should have hired a real estate lawyer, but fortunately Skip knew enough to keep us out of trouble :) . His many many years of experience, and great sense of humor, made the turmoil worthwhile in the end. Not only would I use Skip again, I will recommend him to my friends/associates (and you, the reader).
