The service here is just plain unprofessional and RUDE! I had an incident here about 5 months that really ticked me off. The waitress was SO rude. We had a party of only 3, waited 25 minutes and our order had still not arrived. So, I asked and asked when will we recieve our order? I guess the waitress didn't appreciate this, so she started to completely ignore us. She took orders from other ppl, walking right passed us and refused to return back to us, to offer us more soad or water. At this point I was livid. I got the attention of another waiter and requested to speak to the Manager. When I was explaining the situation to the Manager, the waiter was very condescending and said "Well do you want your food raw?" By this time it had been 35 minutes! The Manager apologized, but did not say anything to the waiter about his smarta** remark. The Manager just gave one excuse after another, but didn't really seem interested in taking responsibility or recifying the root of the problem, which was his RUDE A** staff. If a restaurant is super busy, fine. I understand how things can get swamped and I will be patient. But to be just plain rude and inconsiderate is unacceptable. The food here is good, but not **that** good, to the point where I want my service compromised. I won't be back. Why should I waste my hard earned money here? There are too many good, FRIENDLY, authentic Mexican food places all across the Bay Area to have to deal with this sorry establishment.

P.S. I'm convinced that anyone who gave El Burro a 5-star rating has got to be one of the employees or the Managers/Owners, who don't want bad publicity.

We live so darn close to the restaurant that taking a walk over for dinner is a nice way to go. Apparently not the place to get a crab salad! Iceberg lettuce with a see through tomato slice and what looked like crab "saw dust" sprinkled lightly on top! I had never seen crab so finely ground or so dry before. It looked more like old grated parmesan cheese, which I would have rather had at that point! I wasn't even sure it was crab because it was completely tasteless! For $12.00 or something it was a complete rip off! I only ate it because I was starving to death and got it about 15 minutes after the other two dining companions got their food! Horrible service!!! Condescending wait persons usually. I am afraid to send food back at a place like that! My poor husband on the other hand was really pleased with his giant three item extravaganza.....until he woke up hours later with vomitting and diarrhea! I don't think we will be back!
Questionable food, rotten service, rip off prices! You decide!!

Its impossible to get food poisoning within 3 hours of eating there, thats stupid. I think their food is good, the person who complained is probably white, it is a mexican restaurant..

I went in there last night, The "young" hostess could've used some customer service training. I witnessed her treating a customer who was waiting for her to-go order (as I was as well) disrespectfully. If it weren't for the other employees jumping in to intercept, it would've been terrible. She laughed in my face when I asked if they have soup. Food is ok. I live in Campbell and have seen this restaurant make it's way down hill lately.
