Michi is one of those restaurants that is trying a little too hard in providing an upscale vibe. The food is good but not great and extremely pricey for food that doesn't require cooking. C'mon 45 bucks for assorted sashimi ( nothing on that plate was exotic, just the usual stuff you find at other sushi restaurants for a fraction of the price ). My first visit several years ago was a good experience, my second visit recently felt as if I walked into a different place.

I've never had a problem with the food. As a matter a fact, the food is pretty good, if not a bit pricey. In addition, the vast array of sushi varieties is pretty neat too.
However, the service was absolutely HORRIBLE. While being seated, I asked for a list of beverages, to which the server responded by giving me a list of their different types of BEER. When I responded, "I'll take a Sprite", she sarcastically quips, "Uh...that's not beer!"
In addition, it was pretty apparent that knowledge of their menu items and food was seemingly lost on the servers as well. We had all of our orders wrong, and when we tried to bring this to their attention, they instead insisted that WE were the wrong, and they were correct. Turns out they were wrong and embarrassingly came back to fix it.
I don't mind the food at all. However, the service definitely leaves a lot to be desired. Overall, I'd have to go thumbs down. There are better sushi places out there that are a lot less expensive, yet with MUCH better service.
