I will never do business with Carpet outlet again. I had them install engineered hardwood. This floor is chipping and lifting. I was deciding to get an estimate for new install new carpeting. I went to the store and spoke to an employee about carpeting and also told her about the already installed hardwood. She assured me Don the owner would check it out. This woman made an appointment for Don the owner to come out and measure and check out the hardwood floor. When he arrived he looked at the hardwood, but never said anything about it. I am disabled, so it takes me a little longer to get up and down the stairs. He was very nasty and loudly told me he had other customers and he needed to leave. He wanted to get out of my home, so he didn't have to address the hardwood floor his company installed. He emailed my an estimate and I called him. He has never answered my calls.

I had a great experience with Carpet Outlet, which is family owned. I had wall to wall carpet placed in 3 rooms. I drove from Campbell to go to Gilroy, where they are located because they have competitive pricing, better than stores in San Jose. One of the carpets had a dye lot problem (manufacturing problem where the dye is different from the beginng of the roll to the end of the roll) and the owner took care of it and replaced it. I am going to use them again.
