Very nasty. Old equipment,some broken. Overweight,fat,trainers. Janitor is only employee who is in shape. A year ago one of the trainers killed a lady who worked out at the gym. Just google Fitness usa and murder.
Lets face it, you get what you pay for. Its cheap!. If you want a decent gym everyone knows Fitness USA is not it.
Have you ever been to a good party or restaurant with no people? The fact that their busy says it all.
@ Are you done yet
This isn't some govt agency, all businesses are about making money!! It's why people start businesses in the first place. People like you drive me crazy instead of telling the manager about a problem u go home and blog about it. If kids are running around making a fuss tell the manager. When ever i have a problem with a business i tell them right away and its fixed. I joined in 2004 and they remodeled a ton of stuff: they put in tanning, cardio zone, hours extension and few others. I know cuz i use the tanning and cardio and the extension helped out a lot. They also got rid of contracts and went pay as you go. So now it works in my favor even more. I'm not calling you a liar or anything, but i try to work out at least once a day and I've never seen any kids running around.
@baby
If you want female companionship go to a strip club but if you want to loose weight and get in shape go to a gym.
@First Impression
I'm an assist manager at the holiday inn in Freemont and we always get complaints of the pool being dirty and tbh... it's not. Mineral deposits (mostly calcium) adhere to the concrete and give the appearance of dirt but the water is pure.
Don't get me wrong fitness usa does have some faults. If they had child care it would expand the time i could work out but for what i'm paying its worth it.
The bottom line I've lost alot of weight by coming here and thats why i pay them. So try em out for a month its only $20 bucks.
One more thing, every couple times a month i like to treat myself to personal trianing and it is definitly worth it. I'm an insomniac and since i started personal training I havent had any trouble.
This workout facility is all about making money. a million people can join and this esablishment will not care about how much more room they need. Too crowded and to top it off, families can bring their kids in while they work out. While the people who have been working out here for years, now have to watch out for these kids running around the gym and filling the swimming pool with no gaurdian around. No drastic changes since I joined in 1989 except for the fact that if you have money to waste, you too can join.
The people there are always into competition of who can get the most sales rather than being into the customer service. I would love to bring people in if the staff was not so plastic and inconsiderate. I know it's there job, but as I said, why would I want this more crowded than it is now.
This is something not really hard to think about. I am not going anywhere so you joining this facility will give an employee a bravo zulu, maybe a work out bag for the 4-6 people you refer and a chance to wait a little more longer for the machine you want because believe me, All machines have a line especially the tredmills, elypticles and bikes.
I am a member, and not a happy one, but with ecomomy going down, I have no choice. But you on the other hand will see what I mean when you go to Fitness USA and are given a better deal than what you expected just so they can make the money and not put into consideration of the capacity the gym can actually hold. Workout here if you don't mind crowds and waiting.
