Korean Secret Garden Rest

The food here is really good, unfortunately the service is not always good. I went there for lunch today and I ordered the lunch special politely. The water was served and I thanked her again The lilttle sides were served and i thanked her again. I THANKED HER 3 TIMES BEFORE MY ORDER ACTUALLY CAME! The waitress came with my order and shoved the order in my face, almost hitting my face! I looked up at her in shock only to be meant with a cold stare before she quickly walked away. I couldn't believe how rude she was. Being treated poorly is good enough of a reason NOT to eat here.

One of our favorite Korean restaurants. Good food and reasonable prices as long as you avoid the $$$ cook-it-yourself BBQ. However, the dol sot bi-bim-bap (stone pot fried rice) is very good, and my wife is crazy for their nam-yung (spicy cold noodles). Side dishes are generous and pretty good. Service is usually friendly, but it can get crowded around 7-8pm. We like to eat late and avoid the rush. Open until 10:00PM most nights.

Yep, a complete hole in the wall, but it's a GOOD hole in the wall. Tasty food more than offsets the often times glacially slow service. Don't expect to get your water refilled, but still, expect to go away with a happy, contented stomach.
