Kiantis Pizza & Pasta Bar

Went for lunch, early afternoon, only 3 other tables w/ customers. The waiter ignored me, I had to get up 4 times in search of water, ice tea, sugar,& salt/pepper. The waiter was always standing at the bar with his arm around a young woman. His back was to me and and only came once to ask if I needed anything - which was when he brought the check. Ok food, not great, but won't go back because of service. He was early 20's, wore a hat, had a soul patch under bottom lip. Rude, like he was doing me a favor....

Nice place, we were seated right away. Unfortunately we waited quite a while for our food. Maybe it wouldn't have been so bad if they served bread while we waited and didn't serve yucky tap water. My husband ordered the pizza which was overpriced for what it tastes like and was charged "extra" for a small side marinara sauce. I ordered the chicken pesto which was good. Service was okay.

"Meh." Kiantis is okay Italian. Nothing to write home about. Or on the web about. So why am I here?
