Ruth just did the photography for my wedding and I got the pictures back two days ago and I just couldn't be happier!! We gave Ruth as many lighting challenges as humanly possible, bright unflattering sunlight for the ceremony, patchy dappled shade for the cocktail hour and a reception room with huge windows on everywall so it was backlit no matter where you shot from. Somehow she managed to make everyone look beautiful in all settings!!! She was equally impressive for detail shots, formal posed photos and candid journalistic shots. During the portrait sessions she was the perfect combination of warm and professional, putting me at ease with her personality but making it very clear she knew what she was talking about. She and her assistant blended in seamlessly to the event and upon seeing many of the beautiful photos several family members commented that they had no idea those photos had been taken. Even my extremely picky brother who is currently pursuing a photography masters at Yale described the photos as fantastic! Ruth was kind, warm and extremely professional. Working with her was an absolute pleasure from start to finish and I could not be happier with the final product! She captured the essence of my wedding beautifully.
