| About: | Josiah and Khin Khin Slone create a warm, friendly, and comfortable food-focused environment at Sent Sovi - at once a destination for diners from the entire Bay Area and members of the local community. Chef Josiah works closely with local farmers, purveyors, and small local wineries to bring a Californian influence to French cuisine in preparing seasonal and stylish wine friendly food. More than 30 selections are offered by the glass and guests can choose to pair them with a three, four or five course tasting menu. Prices for a three course menu with wine pairing begin at $45. User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsYou just can't go wrong at Sent Sovi. Small and you are highly intimate with the staff. Great but not snobby wine list. Unique food by a chef who really loves to cook. Get on their mailing list... they obviously love what they do and offer these really neat dining experiences every now and then.
Highly recommended for 2-4 people.
Not too pricey... just a hair above reasonable.
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsGreat atmosphere, very attentive and knowledgeable staff, we had a very good wine but expected more of the food. It was all very good - the prosciutto was upper class, the steak was wonderful, the prawns with risotto were great, but all the rest was quite standard. I genuinely expected more.

Each coarse, had either something, of uncompared quality, interesting, new or just new for an eating out experience. If ever I want to really empress someone, which can including myself, I will, without question, bring them to Sent Sovi
