About:By far one of the best steakhouses in San Jose, Blake's upscale eatery has simple but sophisticated decor. The crab cakes are excellent, and the jumbo prawns are a definite winner. The specialty is steak, but the fish and chicken dishes are divine as well. Service is impeccable. This is a swank place to enjoy a steak and a bottle of wine before heading out on the town. Business meeting spaces are available.

    Blakes is under new ownership. So much has changed.

    I ate there a year ago and had a similar experieice as listed below. Slow service but the food was great.

    This time it was a 180. Give em another shot. I assure you iit won't be a waste of time.

    Don't waste your time... The food was disappointing and the wait long. They make their money from the Sharks crowd.

    Wow, wish I could say something about the food. after waiting for about twenty minutes at the bar and not being even given a menu or offered a drink i decided to leave... huge disapointment considering how the menu looked.
