Two Thumbs Up!: I took my family to have lunch at McDonald's Main Street in Watsonville on January 2006. I was amazed by how friendly and hospitable the people were. We went to the drive through and the person there was quick and helpful. We waited for a while to get our food, but it was worth the wait. The burgers had just come off the grill and the tomatos were juicy and ripe. The lettuce was bright green and super crispy. The fries were great as usual. The chocolate milkshake was thick and delicious. We even came back a couple of hours later to get some ice cream. It was busy up front but the workers knew how to work under pressure. The food was handed out quickly. The person up front was very nice and even convinced us to try the freshly baked batch of oatmeal cookies. Again, we weren't dissappointed. What really bothered me was that some customers were very rude. It must be difficult for the employees to deal with people like that. People were just so rude. Some customers were mean, making smart remarks, and were just plain rude. While this was all happening the employees were able to keep a smile on their face. This McDonald's was probably one of the better ones that I've been to. The crew seemed like one big family. They all had great personalities and knew how to take care of the customers. I wish I was able to remember some of their names, but I did let the manager know that their crew was doing an amazing job! It was overall great experience.
