About:Children's Discovery Museum has two floors' worth of exhibits and activities, including a history of bubbles, face painting and all sorts of things to keep children busy and thinking. The museum is a giant, structure straddling the Guadalupe River Park, so picnics are a common for visitors. It is right on the light rail station, which makes public transportation a snap. The museum offers facilities for birthday parties and special events for small gatherings of 10 or large groups of 1,000.

    $$$$ eXpensive ( parents ($8+$8) + (children*$8) ) entertainment for kid(s).

    Indoors, its not as big as we expected (from the other reviews). If its crowded, you don't want to be there. For kids, there are things to do for different age groups. Sure, its fun for the kid. Food is ok (Outside food not allowed, at least in the cafe area). It might be better value, if one parent is allowed for free with a kid (or 2 with 1+ kids).

    For a kid about 4yrs age, it might be useful for exploring learning little things. For younger ones, other than running around and soaking in water....
