A disaster in customer service. My fiance and I went here for Valentine's Day and the service was the worst I have ever experienced. It started from the get go. Our reservation got screwed up and then when we got there it took over 30 minutes for the waiter to take our order. Then we had to ask for the wine we ordered twice. Three of the seven courses were skipped and we had to ask for them, then they brought the wrong thing and the wrong entree. We observed every table around us complain or walk out prior to finishing their meal. After 2 hours of the neglect we finally had to request our check and walked out before the desert had even been served. The experience was frustrating and comical, every person on the staff had terrible service skills.
Horrible but amusing experience. My husband and I went to Emile's last night for Valentine's Day. We got there at 6:30 and they didn't even come around to take our order until almost 8:00. It was supposed to be a five course meal with a couple smaller dishes in between but some of the items were never received and there was a thirty minute wait between each item. An hour after our order was taken they even had to come out and double check to make sure they got our order right. The owner was nice enough to give us a discount and my husband and I got a good laugh out of the evening. For a fine dining experience, this was by far the worst.
Fantastic restaurant, horrid and rude hostess. Never call, especially on a special day and expect even a decent answer forget courteous answer. Its a shame these reviews have no impact on the arrogance of the restaurant hosts or their business. Fantastic experience as a team event, but nasty hostess when I called for a romantic dinner with my husband. Its a shame good food has nothing to do with being polite and decent on the phone.Know someone there before you go as they treat you like crap if they don't know you. Such a shame, I don't want to eat there due to the absolutely rude and nasty hostess as I can't digest arrogance.
