By far the best taqueria in the bay area. Friendly family atmosphere with great food. Get the the salsa with anything you order. Can be busy at lunch time with a line.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI have been eating here for over 20 years, but don't get in as often as I would like because I am mobility impaired and there is no parking. The prices are high, but the food is worth it. If you are at all pushy or rude, you will find the staff unfriendly and rude, but if you arrive with a smile and are patient, they will bend over backwards for you.

is it opened somewhere else?
I talked to construction contractor who is turning the location into a "carls Jr" ugh !!!! the owner retired but still has his original restaurant in the San Francisco "Mission District" Im very sorry he had to close. Just another San Jose land mark down the drain.
