I don't know... we were told they do not handle Medicare. Seems highly unlikely to me, especially since they're listed as a Medicare provider: http://www.medicare-providers.net/CA/SANTA_CRUZ/DOMINICAN_PLAZA_PHARMACY.html My impression was that they just didn't want to have to reimburse my mom for the six (6) $100 pills they already charged her for. Not sure just yet, but it sure seems suspect to me. They didn't have any problem getting the drugs. They just aren't willing to deal with having to bill for them, or so it appeared. Maybe I'm wrong, but feel like we were lied to.
