Convenience is Not Enough: Had tickets to a concert at the HP Pavillion recently and wanted to know if there was an up scale restaurant inside the facility. After checking the website I was told the best place was called "The Grill". It's just what I was looking for. No worrying about driving to the show after a couple of cocktails or finding parking and you'll be on time for the show. We made reservations an hour and a half before show time. This place could be an Awesome hot spot if done right. Unfortunately you're a captive audience and you're treated that way. The food is mediocre at best. Previously frozen fish served sashimi style is inexcusable. The bar has a llimited selection of spirits and the wine list is weak and very over priced. Beer is the way to go but you better order 2 at a time as the service is awful. It's like a busy lunch place where all the customers need to get in and out in an hour. My suggestion is to eat at one of the many wonderful restaurants in the area and take a taxi to the pavillion.
