This restaurant provided excellent food and service for our wedding reception two weeks ago. We had open bar for drinks. My guests said they enjoyed the food and service from Le Papillon and would come again. In addition, its interior decoration is beautiful. I told my guests I chose Le Papillon because of : 1) Excellent food & services 2) Desirable guest capacity (~100 guests) 3) Plenty of parking 4) I had spent a few years studying French culture and language when I was younger. Excellent service,Excellent Food, Excellent Presentation. Small portions but very rich in flavor. Excellent Ambience and Romantic. The staff is very attentive to your every need and occasionally, the owner who stops by to see how everyone is doing. It was a nice gesture. Maybe that is why everything is excellent, the owner cares enough to personally be there to overlook his business. I went to a wedding catered by La Papillon, and it was excellent as well. The food was specially catered to the bride's request and was Asian Fusion with a French Flair. It tasted excellent and I loved the Filet Mignon with ginger sauce. Tastes even better than Origional Filet Mignon served at the restaurant. My glass was never empty as the staff always came to fill it. They are so attentive and can handle service to over 200 guests. Surprisingly, the catering service was quite affordable and well worth the money according to the bride. -

We were quite shocked by the change in service and quality of food. We were surprised with the waitress' poor grooming and lack of knowledge re the dishes and ingredients. Even the sommelier's attitude was too pretentious for us. As someone in the wine business I sensed they push certain wines... The food was less than adequate and considering all the great restaurants in the area, we won't go back. Definitely not worth the money.
