The quoted Alarm was not fully installed. They basically used the old alarm cables, led, and i believe some components. The sales person said the product did not come with manual, 2 remotes etc after they installed it. I swear i saw 2 remotes and manual when Sean Dipp showed me. But the 2 sales person today were ignorant about my issues and had know knowledge on how to use or operate the alarm after install..How can these guys run a business like this ? No manual i have no idea on how to use it..! Do not go here for any INSTALL PERIOD.....
This place doesn't even deserve a star if I had the choice. I called Audiowerks yesterday because of the reviews from Yelp. I had to call 3 different times to finally get through. I had asked about getting the alarm/ keyless entry installed in my 2010 Nissan Versa and was given a quote. I had set up my appointment for today @ 10am (right when the place opened) because I had other apppointments throughout the day. When I arrived at the store @ 9:55am, there were already to other guys waiting but the store still wasn't open. 10:10 rolls around.. still no sign of a worker here... 10:15ish the other two guys gets ready to leave. Then out of no where, one of the workers there try to stop the two customers (I guess he didn't want to lose their business). He said the other guy was maybe another 10 mins away and he will have the store open. Its now 10:30... and the guy responsible for opening the store finally arrivals. By this time I was already irritated, so I just started my car and backed out the drive way.... all while the other guy who came late just stared at me. Shortly after leaving, I get a phone call saying that I'm late for my appointment. I said, "No I'm not, I was the girl in the Versa who just left. You guys were the ones who were late and I didn't want to wait around any longer. I'm taking my business elsewhere." The jerk didn't even bother apologizing for being late or offer me anything to try and win me back. He just hung up! WTF... who does business like that? Don't go to Audiowerks, they have bad customer service and can't even tell time when you had set up an appointment time. That's what an appointment is for....Duh!
I bought a Clifford Alarm for my Suburban and a few months later I had trouble with it. I wasn't in town so I had my father take the truck in to have it checked out. It was still within the 1 yr warranty but they charged my father $40 bucks to reset something that took 5 minutes to fix. When I found out he charged for the inspection I was pissed! I am now having trouble with my alarm AGAIN and I can't imagine going back to this place to have them look at it. If you are looking for a good alarm shop with excellent customer service I would not come to this place. Go to AMS on Stevens Creek!
