Bad food. The kabobs are thick but the meat quality is awful. After a couple of bites you feel bloated. Overpriced.
Excellent chicken and salmon kababs, slightly pricey.
This is a great choice for Persian food in San Jose. If I didn't live so far away, I'd definitely come back more often.
I had the sheereeon polo, which is a chicken dish that comes with this great rice that has almonds and orange peels in it. It's pretty sweet, but it doesn't detract from the tender, seasoned chicken, which I thought went very well with the rice.
For dessert, I had the makhloot, which is actually a combo dessert that includes some pistachio ice cream and this strange other dessert made of thin vermicelli-like noodles. I was full from the entree, but this was worth ordering.
The prices are a little high ($13 for the chicken dish I mentioned), but it's definitely reasonable, given the intricacy and quality of the food. The service was great, too. A definite thumbs up, especially for anyone willing to try something new and different.
