   I highly recommend Dr. Kumar and his current staff. The current staff recognizes us as if it were a "family practice". We have been coming to the office over 15 years. We have Field Labrador Retrievers. Several things can and have happened. We met Dr. Kumar when he took over the practice and was just starting. I have seen incredible growth and knowledge as he treats diverse issues. He is a very capable surgeon, seems to keep up to date with upcoming animal care. He is our "fur Family Physican" and partner keeping our crew happy and health. He has treated breaks, sprains, ear infections, neutering, diagnosing localized cancer cyst, large fatty cysts removal, puppy wellness, use of Blood titer to try and limit vaccine overkill, and one lab eats anything. I have lost count of the surgeries (maybe 5) to remove items that would have killed him if left on his own. Dr. Kumar has helped us patch up a foster dog. He is thorough, kind, and the animals are comfortable. We have become highly interactive when we need to research certain issues with these loveable labs. Dr. Kumar is very adaptable to his clients - I tend to ask a lot of questions.

   3 years ago we had just moved to San Jose and my cat managed to get in a catfight and needed some attention.Dr. Fluegge was very caring and treated her. I have taken her there since. Last year this vet diagnosed her with hyperthyroidism and she prescribed the tuna flavored medication that my cat willingly takes.Since then, we have boarded her there when we go on vacation so she can get her meds.It is $19 per day when you board cats with medication, which is very good.
   Recently my cat got into another cat fight and we decided to take her in at 8 on a Saturday morning, they were able to fit her in. This time Dr. Kumar was the vet. I had a feeling he prefers dogs, but he was able to treat her well.
   Recently, they changed their payment policy in that they no longer accept checks.

   Hunny says THANK YOU!!!!!: Hunni and her babies say Thank you VERY much !!! to all the Burbank staff that took good care of them while they stayed there those critical days- post delivery. Dr Kumar is very knowledgeable and i have faith in his decisions. My dog and her pupies are doing very good and will continue to thrive. Thanks Burbank pet hospital :)
