User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsi also wish i had seen these reviews before. same story, expired products. no apology, instead trying to make me feel like i was making a big deal out of getting items over 2 years past the expiration date. i am returning the items today (at their expense) and expect to see a credit for the full amount plus S&H or i will dispute the charges on my credit card.
this place seems to be doing business the dutch way, where the customer is always right is a foreign concept (mostly). even though there is a saying about the customer being king.
i will go back to ordering from van der Veen.-

I wish I had read these previous reviews before I went to the store. I didn't check expiration dates on the items I bought (didn't imagine a store could sell expired products!) - ended up spending too much money on stale cookies and outdated items. Shameful business practice!
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI agree, this place really sucks. Most products are past their sell date. Not with a few weeks but a few years. And when you ask about it, they said they had some problem with shipments. Well..it's 2008 now, so why still selling stuff with a selling date of 2004!!!! That has nothing to do with problems with shipments that is just bad store policy!!!
