User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI don't go out to eat much since it is so hard to find good consistent food. Las Casuelas has both. The food is also unique and not the same dishes you find at most other mexican restaurants. Try the chicken soup, its the best!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis is just only my favorite Mexican restaurant in all of California. Why is it my favorite? You see when I go out to eat a good mexican dinner at a restaurant I go to La Morenita's. They have managed to create a menu that every item or special named dish is made fresh. Fresh. That's right, FRESH! There variety of salsa's with tortilla chips while munch on while your waiting for your meals to arrive, are so good and tasty and yes fresh. I've been know to put away a couple of bowels of tortilla chips and salsa and then be too full for my main course. But anyway, from sea food to taco's, They have it all.
And the service, well, they are so friendly. Even when they are real busy, you know, they manage to share a smile and ask if everything is all right and can I get you anything. What a staff.
The atmosphere is friendly. You always feel welcomed.
So be ready to feast on the wonderful tastes of Mexico authentically. Best food north of the border!
But really, one more thing the price is just right. It's right here in Manteca and they cator to us.
Oh! Leave room for dessert. Excellant choices.

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI've eaten at this new location three times now and I have to say that it is really one of the best, authentic Mexican restaurants in Manteca. It is large, new location with plenty of room for large parties. I always end up bringing home lots of leftovers because they give such large portions. Oh, YUMM!!
