Be considered a local even when you're not...: Step into the friendly confines and you will wonder why this nostalgic Sierra watering hole and general store hasn't been featured in Sunset Magazine. Historic architecture, logging artifacts and original plank floors come complete with colorful regulars who may just be stopping into chat after skiing, fishing or just plain old relaxing. After spending a year here I always hate leaving to go back to the real world but Camp Connell always beckons me home again. See you there!

Love it!: Camp Connell General Store has the friendliest people I know. They are all so helpful in many ways, i.e. tire chains, firewood location, fishing spots, weather reports or local events, etc. They know what is happening. So if you feel you are in need of guidance in the mountain experience you feel very comfortable asking questions.
Oooooh, don't forget to get a sandwich.......yum!!!!

I love this store!: We have had a family cabin in Camp Connell all of my life. The General Store has just about everything from groceries to auto repair items and lattes. The service is always extremely friendly. Not to mention in the summer they have potlucks out back with music and great company.
