I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Turner and his caring staff. I have brought dogs, cats and two African Gray parrots to Dr. Turner and am more than completely satisfied.

If I could give this office -stars, I would. I am beyond disgusted with the lack of concern and care this office showed me, when I called this morning with a baby bird that I found on my child's playground at school. Amy, the secretary stated "it is not our responsibility" when I asked if they could help. But of course if I paid, they would be glad to help! Really? Are you frigging kidding me!!? A helpless bird that needs treatment is not your concern??? But a bald eagle or an owl is right, because it gets your name in the paper about how "helpful" you are!!???? Your office makes me sick, and I will tell everyone I know/meet how you treat animals that don't "benefit" you in any way. Think about that.......the vet you take your own pets too, will not help a wild, helpless bird, unless you pay for it. Is that really the type of person you want treating your own pets? Someone who could care less about the less fortunate animals who are not pets? I think you should at least think about it.......every animal deserves care. A hurt pet depends on us to take it to the vet; but a wild animal has no one, unless someone sees it, and takes the time and care to bring it in for treatment. Animals are not $$ signs, at least not to me.

I absolutely agree. Dr Turner is amazing and has been our family vet for over 17 yrs. He is extremely knowledgeable & saved my dogs life when we thought she wouldn t have had a chance. And as far as $$$, you clearly don t know what you re talking about. Their office has worked out payment plans for me numerous times for unexpected services that I could not afford. You should do more research before running your mouth about such a well respected vet and office staff. You obviously weren t using the resources that are made available for your situationand instead should be mad at yourself for your ignorance, not the vet for not giving you a handout. Get real!

That is what animal control and rescue organizations are for, to help the needy without owners. You took the bird to a doctors office! You wouldn't go to the supermarket and expect free handouts just because you were hungry and then call them racist because they wouldn't feed you would you? If everyone went to a proprietor and expected handouts the economy would be even worse off than it is. My suggestion is to take the bird to a rescue service that deals with this type of thing or pay the amount the doctors office wanted. Hey you were the one that said they were not $$ signs to you so why don't you fork over the cash yourself. I take my animals here and have only had thee utmost service. They are friendly, knowledgeable and have worked around my schedule to get me in fast.

I currently have 4 cats whose care I trust to Arbor Pet Clinic. Dr. Turner and his staff are extremely dedicated to the animals they care for, especially if they are ill. I have called after hours with a concern, and Dr. Turner promptly calls me back with his support and advise. He, also, treats tigers, baboons, birds, large farm animals (just to mention a few), and he cares about each and every one as if they were his own. I've never met anyone more knowledgeable and compassionate about animals than Dr. Turner and his wonderful staff.
