Wine tasting in Calaveras County: Eurpoean miners who came to the Sierra country foothills seeking their fortunes in gold brought their passion for wine and knowledge to Calaveras County.

Calaveras vineyards produce some of the finest premium grapes in the State of California. The perfect mountain climate and elevations help create these perfect grapes for fine wines.
next time your in, murphys visit Ironstone Vineyards.

What a great place!: Ironstone has it all, a wonderful outdoor concert venue, wine tasting, a mining museum, including the largest gold nugget on display in probably the whole world!, deli, banquet facilities; the list goes on and on. A must-visit if you're ever near Murphys, especially in the spring when the thousands of daffodils planted on the way to the entrance are in bloom!
