US Post Office

I hate to write a negative review because if they find out who I am they will quit delivering all together. It all started a few years ago when after living in my house for several years I suddenly discovered a note in my mailbox stating that the mail was now undeliverable, when I called I was told I needed to come in to talk about it, when I arrived I was told that my mail box was too far off the road, (approx 36 inches same as my neighbors) when I inquired as to why suddenly the mail box was "out of spec" I was greeted with anger and rudeness and told that due to the recent rain the mail carrier found the shoulder of the road too muddy for her taste and said she was aftraid the mail truck would get stuck. I went away in a huff, but in an attempt to maintain good relations went hone poured gravel and concrete onto the side of the road (few buckets) as to make sure the road shoulder was sound for traffic (remember 36 inches) suddenly I had mail! all was good until I made the mistake of complaining about constantly getting other peoples mail and the straw that broke the camels back was when I sent out several bills and when I checked my mail 4 days later (I work out of town typical bay area commuter ) I found tons of OTHER peoples mail and tons of JUNK mail piled ON TOP of MY BILLS!, so they obviously were in such a hurry they jammed my box up and moved on. when I complained once again I found the notice that said My mail was again undeliverable! due to the fact that the mailbox was too far from the road! then I was told that picking up My outgoing mail was a courtesy and wasnt required, I then attempted to get a P.O. box and found them to be threatening knew who I was and made me feel uncomfortable at the post office. I eventually moved my box about 4 inches and basicly conformed and all the drama stopped but I definately got the message dont mess with them, they can make our lives miserable, thank God for email!!
