Galaxy Theater - Riverbank

Reviewed from Yahoo! Movies: I drive in from Dublin Ca to attend movies at the Galaxy Riverbank. WOW !!!! Digital Projection on every screen. A sound system that is out of this world. I just watched "This is it". Oh my god.. The Picture and SOUND in this movie was fantastic. Clean Bathrooms, helpful staff. Every movie I have watched at the Galaxy Riverbank the professional staff have never rushed me out of a theater before the end of a movie. The friendly staff has ALLWAYS waited out side the theater until the movie was TOTALY over before entering for cleaning. Its a great theater and even though the Dublin theaters are considerably closer to me, I rather drive a few more miles to get the great service and satisfaction that Galaxy gives me.
Hope to see you there ... I'll be the one with a smile on my face.

Digital Projection on every screen. Big bonus for 3D movies, which I love to watch. Clean Bathrooms, helpful staff, food is over priced, but discovered their Coffee was as good as Starbucks and I'm a coffeeholic. Much cheaper than I'd expect for a theater.

I've been going to Galaxy on a weekly to bi-weekly rate for over a year and I have only had one experience where a film skipped. I stepped out and reported it and they rewound to just before it had happened, so we didn't miss a thing. That's service.

I usually go on Tuesdays, since there are little crowds or tweeners to contend with (personal preference) so I can't comment on the weekends. But, Galaxy is not set in a Mall or Shopping center environment to promote that age group anyway.

Seats are very comfortable, theater is always clean and the added $2 charge for the glasses is worth it, because you can recycle them, but you could keep them as your own. They are the most comfortable glasses (compared to IMAX in Dublin) and always sealed in a package so I don't feel like I'm wearing somebody elses glasses from the night before.

Hands down, the best overall experience for your movie dollar and I can't imagine that the few bad reviews aren't from teens or troublemakers.

My boyfriend and I have gone to Galaxy at least once a month and I am happy everytime. I used to go to Modesto, but Galaxy definitely has the most comfortable seats and the movies are always great. The food is overpriced, but thats the same as every theater out there nowadays. There is always parking and the staff has always been very nice to us. Its a great theater and even though modesto theaters are considerably closer to me, I rather drive a few more miles to get the great service and satisfaction that Galaxy gives me.
