I'd drive to Modesto to buy a Jeep (or any car) before I would buy here. Bill in service is RUDE and has no idea what customer service is, I had to bring my 3 month old Jeep in 3 times before they would finally fix my E-brake. My Emergency brake, of all things, why would I lie about that? I have a 7 month old daughter who I have to get out of my car when the e-brake is on, what if it went out while I was trying to get her unstrapped, can you imagine!!??
I brought it in the first time, he called 3 hours later to tell me its un-adjustable. Fine, I say, so replace it with a new one. He said they found nothing wrong with it, calling me a liar that it wouldnt work, and I finally had to call their headquarters and have HQ tell the service dept to have someone go out and test it.
I set up a time for the next day, called before I went in to make sure it was a good time, I get there and Bill says, you must've misunderstood, we said we'd test it here not at your house. I said no, I talked to Eric in service and Robin at HQ and they said to bring it in, I could pick someone up and take them to my house (only 2 miles away) to test it on my driveway where it's not holding. Both my parents cars have no problem with holding there, and my old 82 Ford Tempo had no problem holding there so there is no reason my brand new Jeep shouldn't hold. He says fine, calls a guy in a coveralls over named Steve, Steve said he's in the middle of something and I had to wait another 10 minutes until he was ready to go, we take it to my driveway and it doesn't work both backwords and forewords. He says, ok, it doesn't work. I made a 3rd appt, I took it in, they miraculously fixed my un-fixable E-brake, then told me they had drove it and tested it in my driveway, which in the hour that they had my car I know it was never in my driveway.
I went to pick up my car, and Bill wanted me to sign the slip that said they tested it in my driveway and it held, I told Bill I couldn't sign it because they didnt do that and he asked me, well why would they lie about it? I can think of many reasons, the main one being my car is under warrenty and they arent getting paid to fix it, but I held my tongue and just said I can't sign that and he huffed and said fine don't then, handed me my keys and I left. The E-brake did hold, but I shouldn't have had to go through all this, they should've fixed it the first time. For the record, I didn't buy my Jeep at this dealership, but have recently moved back after serving my time in the US Navy. I know for a fact that the dealer I bought it from, and even the GMC dealer by Jamestown, would NEVER have treated me like this. They would've fixed it the first time, and if necessary, swapped it out for a new one. Everytime I went in there was no other customers but me, I walked up to the counter, Bill saw me, and then would continue to talk to his buddys for a few more minutes until he'd acknowledge me. Then he would try to tell me there was nothing he could do about my Jeep. It was ridiculous and appalling.
