Great place to eat. The staff is really friendly. They have a hard time understanding me, maybe I mumble, but there's a very very slight languange barrier, but that makes for more of an authentic experience. They recently got a new cook and the food is different. Some of the food is better some not. Mainly, really appreciate the friendliness of the staff. Decor is OK. Food is Good. Staff is GREAT. Prices are Good.

This place is just okay. It's not the worst I've had but it is far from the best. Go try Beijing on Mchenry by the volvo dealer. It is tucked back there, when you walk in it makes you feel fancy but its not uptight! Either that or Lucky house in riverbank. Both are the BOMB!! Oh and if it makes you think my review is any more vaild i can tell you ''I came from the bay area" as if that is supposed to make the chinese food better? 8==uuuu===D~~~~ O-:

Great Chinese Food: We're from the Bay Area (Alameda) originally and moved to Modesto in 2001, since then we missed eating the kind of Chinese Food the Bay Area has to offer. After how many years of searching for a good restaurant, finally we found Imperial Garden and definitely, they have all the types of Chinese Food like what we are so used to eating when we were still in the bay Area. Try the "Hong Kong Style Pan Fry Noodles". They are the only Chinese Restaurant in Modesto that serves this particular food.
