    Saturday the day of the home and garden show my wife and I decided to splurg...at least to us on our budget it was to be a splurge...so we went to where we had had good food before....your place...It was almost empty...yet it was just 4:30...so we got seated after the boy at the door grabbed a filthy rag and wiped everything where we were to sit....we noticed the happy hour sign at our table..we had had that before and so we placed an order for drinks while we read the menu....the girl came back and said "you can't have that, ya gota sit in the bat area"...I said what the sign is here at the table and we've had it before...her responce "well, ya aint gettin it now."...my wife said that's rude..would you like us to go somewhere else?...the responce has angered my since and I don't know if I'll ever come back...she said "ya might as well cause ya aint gettin what ya want from here..and there aint no manager here to complain to." So we got up and left. It's sad...and we used to count on that as a nice place we could go to when we went out..don't much care what you do.....I just needed to vent my anger!

    Food was good- I don't mean to be patronizing, but this was the best meal I've had at one of the chains in a long time. I had the santa fe salad and i will be back. My waiter was great too attentive without being pushy.

    terrible: I was served a salad with mud on the leaves that was visible to me and the server. The manager gave me some coupons to smooth over the incident. I gave them away because I will never go there again. I wonder if the other reviews were written by Applebee's employees.
