User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsFirst, I have to say, the Flamingo is very charming in appearance. The architecture is circa 1940's and you can just imagine Marilyn Monroe sitting by the pool sipping a martini. Sadly, this is where the charm stops. The room was not very clean and the walls are paper thin, we could hear WAY to much of the upstairs goings on. And did I mention the blow dryer in the bathroom? Well lets just say you could find it in the store if you could travel back to the 40's.
All in all I would not completely bag the place just a few tips if you plan to stay: don't stay on the bottom floor (or near the stair-wells) bring your own blow dryer and a fedora. Cheers.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsWhy is everyone giving this Flamingo Resort hotel & spa in Santa Rosa such a bad rap? It's a 4 - star hotel right and as far as I know one achieves this decorum of 4 stars by doing something and providing something right. I think the reviews I have read about this hotel are bogus. My wife and I are going to stay in this hotel soon and I am hoping for a good nice stay. I will get back to you all with a one on one review after our stay. Fair? Yes of course.

HORRIBLE experience! Do not stay here!! We stayed at the Flamingo on our wedding night and didn't sleep a wink because of the noise. Horrible management, horrible bar(charges $7 a person and won't give discounts to large parties) Under construction and was not informed. Extremely overpriced. Just an overall terrible experience for a time of our life that should have been peaceful.
