    A-OK...= Neutral...

    I'm not a fan, but if someone asks where to meet for lunch...this sometimes comes out of my mouth. Why? Well, it's not bad, it's not great...it's food. I usually have a salad and this time I asked for the Cobb, no egg and light on the Gorgonzola cheese...my cheese was so light it was non-existent...and the hard boiled egg was right there...OK...I sent it back and the egg was removed...cheese still non-existent. I ordered a glass of the Mark West Pinot Noir; one taste and I knew it was off..weak on the palette with a sour/tart finish...so I asked the server how long the bottle had been opened...she didn't know but promptly brought me a new glass of freshly opened wine...ah, viva la difference...I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I don't expect perfection...I expect responsiveness...and that they delivered...no push back at all.

    LindySez - if the weather is nice, score a seat outside. It's not a bad place to kick back and enjoy 4th Street

    If you go to Checkers you have to try the butternut squash ravioli with smoked chicken. It is to die for! MMmmmmmm......so good!

    Everything is great at Checkers: Checkers is my new comfort food place. Everything on the menu is excellent. Their iced tea, foccia bread, and I especially love their salads. Service is quick if you beat the rush but the restaurant can be loud at peak times. Take-out service is excellent as well. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.
