Acclaimed as a 'small brewery' and 'large brewpub', the Russian River is also credited with inventing the Double India Pale Ale. The entire list of 14 "-tion" ales is fascinating, each of them unique in blend, texture and flavor. User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsThis was my weekly ritual for about two years. I was going in every Sunday and buying a pizza and two beers, that was about $20 including tip, every week. I love the Larenzo pizza with chicken and bacon, but all their pizzas are great especially the 4 seasons. My favorite beer is the California Common, I think it was called esteemed, it was only around for a few months but that was a great beer.
Lately though it seems like it is getting too busy. As a regular I would expect the staff to remember me and if my lunch is taking longer to make at least note it to me or check on it. I shouldn't have to go looking for my meal and discover that no one made it.
But it gets better, when I called in an order to go for a Larenzo (made with cheese, bacon and chicken), when I arrived it wasn't made because they thought I wanted it vegen....what?
When this place has their act together it is really good and their pizzas are consistently the best around along with their beers.-
